Ramped Slow Motion available in all tricks

We can create RSM (Ramped Slow Motion) for our tricks or for any download. Tricks that already have this option activated will automatically play the RSM alternating with the trick at normal speed. You can disable this option in the nut menu in the video player.

HOW TO ACTIVATE RSM WHEN UPLOADING A NEW TRICK

Upload video > trick > In the cover selection screen you will see a checkbox for Ramped Slow Motion, check it and when you finish the application will redirect you to the Edit RSM menu automatically.

HOW TO ACTIVATE RSM IN AN ALREADY UPLOADED TRICK

In the video itself, three-dot menu at the top right, option Edit RSM (see image 3 of the sequence)

HOW TO DOWNLOAD A RSM OF ANY VIDEO

Click on the down arrow icon below any video, check slow motion RSM, trim, set parameters and download.

RSM EDIT MENU PARAMETERS

In the RSM edit menu (second image of the sequence) the following parameters appear:

  • trim bar: sets the start and end of the video. It is usually edited to one second before and one second after the trick, or the whole video as long as it does not exceed the maximum of 8 seconds. When you release the control the video will be placed at the exact point where it will make the RSM.
  • Ramp position: the time position of the RSM with respect to the trick, i.e. where the RSM will be applied.
  • Ramp duration: the time that the slow motion lasts. If it's a fast trick, a small gap, you mark at 80% and adjust the trick well. If it's a long rail you can set to 40% or less.
  • Max slowmotion: maximum speed reduction or minimum peak speed. In case we want to stop more or less the trick.

Making this kind of slow motion cameras has always been considered an art, now at your disposal. Here are a few that I have made, as an example:
